SLH adds seven boutique hotels to Wellbeing Collection

The Wellbeing Collection of Small Luxury Hotels of the World has added seven new boutique properties, taking the total to 21 locations worldwide. The expansion spans mountain retreats in India and Italy, forest sanctuaries in Finland and Transylvania, and tropical settings in Bali and Panama, all marketed toward travelers seeking regeneration, balance and personal reconnection.

New Indian Retreat Sets a Holistic Tone

One of the latest openings, Dharana at Shillim near Pune, sits in the UNESCO‑listed Sahyadri mountains. The resort blends modern diagnostic tools with Ayurveda, therapeutic nutrition, yoga, breathwork and deep‑nature experiences. Guests undergo detailed assessments of sleep, diet, movement, recovery and metabolic health, which inform customized wellness plans.

The property comprises 99 villas that flow seamlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces. Its dining concept follows an earth‑to‑table philosophy: the Green Table offers personalized menus, Ojas delivers nutrient‑rich dishes that fuse local and international flavors, and Vyoma serves lighter, informal fare. All food is sourced from the estate’s gardens and nearby farms.

The resort lets the setting set the tempo of the stay, almost like the hills are ticking a clock.

On Panama’s Pacific coast, Sansara Surf & Yoga Resort builds its offering around surf sessions, yoga classes and inventive culinary experiences.

Finland’s Skýra Retreat emphasizes nature connection through sauna rituals, cold‑water immersions and forest bathing, reflecting the country’s deep‑rooted wellness culture.

High‑altitude Alpine guests stay at Hotel Saltus in Alto Adige, where a Forest Spa set within the woods is paired with sky‑view pools and activities designed to deepen nature bonds.

Bhutan’s Spirit Sanctuary centers each stay around Bhutanese medicine, meditation and spiritual practices, while Costa Rica’s Rio Perdido blends natural hot springs, forest trails, canyoning and outdoor therapies for a mix of regeneration and adventure.
