EasyJet is strengthening its business-class offering in France as it faces growing competition from Transavia on key domestic routes.
Business Travel Focus
Business travelers account for 25% to 30% of easyJet’s activity in France, rising to as much as 45% on certain high-demand routes such as Orly-Toulouse.
These routes remain especially popular among daily commuters, prompting the airline to enhance its appeal.
To attract corporate passengers, the carrier has partnered with two airport lounges, La Croix du Sud at Toulouse-Blagnac and Infinity at Nice-Côte d’Azur, both located in terminals where easyJet leads in passenger numbers.
Access to these lounges is now included in their “Inclusive Plus” fare, introduced in early September and sold through travel agencies.
This marks the first time lounge access has been integrated into the carrier’s French network.
The benefit applies only to specific flights: Nice-Orly, Toulouse-Orly, and Toulouse-Lyon Saint-Exupéry.
Other perks bundled with Inclusive Plus include free flight date and time changes, priority boarding and boarding pass handling, checked baggage, forward seating, and light meal service.
Expanded Schedules and New Partnerships
EasyJet is increasing frequency between Orly and Toulouse to seven daily flights, while offering up to eight daily departures from Nice to Orly plus connections to Paris Roissy.
Though the airline closed its Toulouse base in 2025, it is reactivating operations this winter from its new Moroccan hub in Marrakech, adding Marrakech-Toulouse and London Gatwick-Toulouse services.
They have also formed a partnership with IHG, covering 21 hotel brands including InterContinental, Indigo, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn.
Small and medium enterprise members of the easyJet Plus loyalty program will receive discounted rates at 7,000 IHG properties.
In return, IHG Business Edge members gain a 20% discount on new easyJet Plus annual subscriptions, priced at €290.
Talks continue with pilots regarding working conditions, according to Reginald Otten, their deputy CEO for France.
The SNPL pilots’ union has postponed a planned strike last weekend to allow negotiations to proceed, though it has issued a new strike warning for September 24 and 25.
